ayaani xei (nearly 5000, she/they)
DECEASED. Chaos' second child and her least (or most, depending on the day) favorite. She was born in a deep valley in a mostly deserted area off the underworld, and was raised there by her mother's group of followers. Her mom was around, but she was a terrible caretaker) She found the castle entirely by accident while exploring. Ayaani wasn't aware of the concept of stranger danger, and it was raining, so she knocked on the door, and that's where everything fell apart.
She moved in with her brother shortly after, finding him more favourable than her very scatterbrained (and emotionally abusive) mother. Chaos was upset by this and forced Ayaani
to visit her once a week. Ayaani couldn't exactly refuse, so she of course accepted. This worked
well at first, but eventually her mom just got pissed at her and threw a tantrum. (very mature.)
This killed people. Like, people literally died because Chaos was mad at her kid for some small
reason. Ayaani, who was honestly kind of tired of her mom throwing tantrums, literally fought
her mom with the help of Death and Grimm.
Her mom continued being a little bitch and harrassing her poor daughter for thousands of
years. Somewhere in this time, Ayaani decided to go undercover and join a tribe of angels who were living close by. They were very nice people, to be honest. Here, she met Shafira and the two became best friends. When Chaos eventually realized where her daughter went, Ayaani fled back to the castle for protection and Shafira came with her.
Many years passed by, and then Ayaani was forced out of the underworld by her dumbass mom, who thought she was spending too much time around "commoners." (chaos' logic is SO WEIRD?) Ayaani remained there for roughly about 200 years before sneaking back and meeting her angel friends that she hadn't been allowed to see.
When Chaos found out, she got MAD and threw her biggest tantrum yet- the Angel War. EVERY angel was thrown in the Styx, where they turned into beastly demons, or killed. The only angel that survived was Shafira.
Shortly after, due to the intense harrasment, Ayaani felt she couldn't bear dealing with Chaos anymore. She died in early 10th century BC.

ALWAYS DISAPPEARING. Runaway daughter of Phoenix Flavio and Meshida Nile. Known to be a problem child, not for violent behavior, but for her habit of dissapearing Ran away a lot and stayed at friends' houses through most of her preteen/ teenage years. After she died (and was ressurrected) at 14, she was forced to live at her dad's house so that he could help train her. She found the whole thing, especially because everyone expected her to act royal. (like what does that even mean?) So she started vanishing more, usually for weeks at a time. No amount of disclipline would get her to stay home. Claire was eventually sent to Death's, as her parents had decided he would be better at dealing with her. (thanks, guys.)
Death -after a couple times of tracking her down, finding her, and bringing her back to the
castle- made a deal with her: she could leave whenever, she just had to notify him
at some point so her mom didnt kill him. Claire took full advantage of this and eventually just
"moved out" to go live with her vampire pals at seventeen.

Holds the secrets of the universe. Acenti of knowledge and mother of Ego. She lives in the library of Death's castle, guarding the Umberi, a book that contains all the truths of the world. Due to the fact she knows all, she can be seemingly forgetful, and often will lose things before she can recall them. Also known for taking out her eyes as a gift to Death.
Her powers include extreme sensory abilities, telekinesis, and necromancy.
